With the imminent retirements of Gray Academy Head of School Rory Paul and Principal Hart Sera, the administration of the Gray Academy is about to undergo major changes next school year. Following are brief descriptions of the incoming administrators and their new roles:


Lori Binder, currently Associate Head of School, is slated to take over as Head of School and CEO. A graduate herself of Joseph Wolinsky Collegiate (class of ’91), Lori was recently selected as “one of Canada’s top 40 minds in education.”
Tracy White, who will be the new High School Principal, is currently Middle School Principal at Balmoral Hall. A graduate of the University of Manitoba, Tracy has 18 years experience in high school education.
Joyce Kerr will be moving from School Vice Principal to Elementary School Principal. Joyce has served in various positions with the Gray Academy and its predecessor schools for 25 years, including teacher, Judaic Studies Coordinator and Vice Principal.
Rob Dalgliesh is to be Director of Teaching and Learning. Rob comes to the Gray Academy from Pembina Trails School Division, where he has more than 30 years experience, most recently as Program Leader at Oak Park High School.
As well, Ruth Ashrafi will remain in her current role as Judaic Studies Advisor.
