Our deeply loved Sylvia Topper left us on the evening February 2nd, 2020, a few hours before her 77th birthday, eventually succumbing to the dementia that ate away at her personality for last six years of her life. Mourning their loss are her husband David, sons Steve (Hope) and Romi (Cathy), and granddaughter Alexis. Her siblings Judy (Mark), George (Janet), and many relatives, friends, and neighbours.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marvin Shenkarow, who passed away suddenly on January 17, 2020 at the age of 73. Marvin will be deeply missed by his three children: Lori (Jeff), Michelle (Laurence), Morris (Rana) and his beloved nine grandchildren: Natasha, Gillian, Sydney, Sam, Tyler, Samantha, Abbie, Greer and Nathaniel.
Sam Genaske passed away on Friday January 3rd. Sam got diabetes at 20 years of age and gradually developed a catalog of medical problems including removal of both legs - through it all he reacted with remarkable courage, good humour, and a big smile and laugh for everyone. His sense of humour and his love of everyone endeared him to one and all. He will be missed more than words can say by his mother, Lorraine Daiter, his two brothers Larry Genaske (Kathleen) and Randy Guest (Leigh Anne).
Easton Irving Lexier was born May 8, 1926, the first child for Jack and Lena Lexier of Winnipeg. Born sickly, baby Lexier received a blood transfusion - a radical treatment at the time - that saved his young life and allowed him to thrive for a full 93 years.
It is with great sadness that the family of Larry Tabachnick announces his passing on January 13, 2020 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Goldie in 1987. Larry will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Bonnie (Steven) Buchalter, Rena (Ryan) Solomon, grandchildren Jada and Seth Buchalter and partner for the last 18 years, Patricia Maxwell.
